James Condit Jr.

On June 7th, 2016, a special election was held in Ohio’s 8th congressional district to determine the successor to former Speaker John Boehner, who resigned in October of last year. Three candidates were on the ballot, including James Condit Jr., who ran under the Green Party ballot label, but was publicly disavowed by the Ohio Green Party.
